Now's your chance! Join Club Sport's 7th Annual DRAGON BOAT TEAM!! Dragon Boat racing is an exciting, fast-growing sport involving teamwork and camaraderie. If you're not familiar, the boats are 42' in length and seat 20 paddlers (at least 8 women) in 10 rows. A drummer sits in the front facing the crew, and a steersperson stands on a raised platform in the stern to guide the boat with a 10' oar. The boats race on a 400m course in under the bridges in downtown Tampa with thousands cheering you on.
The fee includes use of the boat and all equipment, six 60-minute practice sessions (9am-10am) with a coach and the annual race on April 26th against 50+ other teams. This all day event includes 3 races and is a blast with thousands of races and fans! Also bond with your team over beers after each practice. This will be a great time!!! Win one for the team and Club Sport!
