The sun was shining on Underdog Sports fans in the hot season opener this week in the Fall Co-ed flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Sundays. The player of the week is David Batman of the Patriots, formerly Stormi's Troopers. In a fierce battle against the Drunken Misfits, David ultimately made the difference in the game, returning an interception for a touchdown allowing his team to post a win in the first week of the season by a score of 12-6. Great job David!

Practice All-Americans
Defense wins championships, and Justin provided plenty of it on Sunday. WAMAS had a lot of difficulty completing passes as everytime they threw, Justin was standing there. He was seen streaking across the field to knock down 5 passes. This of course was when he wasn't catching the ball. He also picked off 2 passes on the day.

Pulling off the victory with the score ending at 20 to 19, Ed helped his team with 2 TD's. His second came in the overtime, and after the TD he followed it with getting the PAT sealing the victory!
